Mo’s Prose – Day 348 / Preparation

Day 348 – Tuesday, April 25, 2017

Preparation

I love the voices heard at night,
With echoed distant sounds
Waves and boats and birds in flight,
And far, the barking hounds

Most quiet, peaceful and serene,
Chill winters in this place
But warmer time, is sweet sublime,
A lively, friendly place

Springtime cabins dusted out,
And laughs from child and man
Crab, and sun and BBQ,
All snatched as catch be can

But until then, I get a glimpse,
Of daylight gaining ground
And welcome snowbirds; welcome home,
Let’s ready summers round!
